About Tim Perryman, the Founder & CEO of Perryman Painting & Remodeling, and How Perryman Painting & Remodeling Began
Tim grew up in Rocklin. His family had deep roots in the area since the 1930s, and he graduated from Roseville High in 1986. Tim had a strong work ethic and a passion for entrepreneurship, which he discovered at a young age. Growing up in a not-so-wealthy family, he learned the value of hard work and the importance of earning his own way.
As a determined youngster, Tim hustled to make extra money. From mowing lawns to delivering newspapers, he was always on the lookout for opportunities to earn some cash. When he turned 14, he started working at Burger King and soon became a manager. Though he excelled in school, he realized that attending college while working full time would take too long to achieve his dreams.
A twist of fate led Tim to a career change. Living with his friend, who painted houses, Tim saw an opportunity for a more lucrative path. He decided to embrace the painting trade and bid farewell to the world of fast food. With hard work and dedication, Tim made a name for himself, working for different painting companies and even doing side gigs for interior designers.
One day, he met the love of his life, Christie Perryman, who was working for one of the interior design companies. They became inseparable best friends and, eventually, married. Together, they founded their own company, where Christie used her unique skills to enhance their services within the community. Their 26-year-old daughter, Courtney, joined the company, handling accounting duties even after she moved to Texas.
In their cozy home in the local area, Tim and Christie share their lives with an adorable assortment of pets. They cherished dreams of retiring one day and living by the beach. Despite their busy lives, Tim always found time for his hobbies, including playing guitar, singing, and enjoying outdoor activities like camping, fishing, golfing, and hiking. He even pursued his interest in nutrition and fitness, staying active and exercising regularly.
Over the years, their company flourished, earning more than 20 regional awards, and gaining a reputation as one of the best in the business. What began as a painting-focused venture expanded to focus more on people, relationships, team building, and community involvement. The Perryman Team now offers a variety of painting services for interior, exterior, cabinets, and custom concrete coatings. Their services include kitchen and bathroom remodeling, including custom cabinet design, fabrication, and installation.
The Perryman Team’s expertise in fine finishes, the customer experience, and dedication to excellence make them the go-to company for residential and commercial projects.
With the support of family, friends, and the community, Tim and Christie’s company thrives, bringing joy and beauty to homes and businesses alike. Their inspiring journey continues, filled with passion, hard work, and the determination to make every project a masterpiece.

Company Vision
Tim believes in an industrious and modern approach to business, emphasizing transparency and honesty in all business practices. He has a clear vision of a company that is full of great people that are committed to excellence, learning, personal growth, and strong desire to serve others. Tim and the entire Perryman team are all laser focused on their three core values: Providing a First-Class Customer Experience, following the Perryman Proven Process, and exemplifying Extreme Ownership & Accountability.
Their vision includes providing every one of their clients with an experience like no other company they have done business with before. They have identified all of the common frustrations clients have when dealing with contractors. All their processes have been developed around the client experience. Their goal is to provide the “Wow” factor. To have everyone for their clients to say “Wow, I’ve never done business with a company like this before. The communication, positive interactions, dependability, and craftsmanship are like nothing I’ve experienced with any other business!”
The Perryman Proven Process is a series of well written procedures that their team uses as a client experience map. It’s a timeline-based approach with detailed checklists that each member follows through each stage on the map. From the time a client contacts them to request a consultation all the way through job completion, they put a great amount of emphasis on project preparation and planning. When each process is completed with excellence it eliminates almost every problem that might come up during the project installation. Their crew leaders and project managers use a separate set of detailed checklists at job start, each day of the project, and at the end of the job with an emphasis on daily client updates. The process has almost eliminated the dreaded call backs that frustrate both the customer and team members.
They have well-documented set of each position in the company with clearly defined roles. They go about filling those roles using job fit assessments to make sure each team member is a great fit for that role and genuinely enjoys doing. They want each team member to take ownership of their role and hold themselves accountable for doing it with excellence. Having a company full of people that fits these profiles is the main reason for their continuing success.
