Starting with a ballpark budget prevents frustration later in the design process. For instance, if you hire a designer and fall in love with a design, only to discover that it far exceeds your budget, you’ll be left with disappointment and the need to design the kitchen all over again.

The Kitchen Design Stage

We begin by discussing your overall preferences and goals for the space. We can always review your Pinterest boards and other sources of inspiration to keep the design on track, and we will curate materials, fixtures, and finishes (like hardware, paneling, countertops and so forth) to present to you. For instance, we can send you sample tiles for the floor, wallpaper swatches, or pictures of kitchens that represent the materials we recommend.

Once the selections are finalized, we source the materials from our supply partners. We handle everything from ordering vanities and countertops to arranging the delivery of fixtures and tiles, and we keep the process as seamless as possible for our clients.

We Then Start Creating Your Dream Kitchen

Demo Work as Necessary

Before building your dream kitchen, we may need to clear out old cabinetry, flooring, or appliances. We complete demolition as quickly as possible, and we take care to protect the rest of your home from dust and debris. We also handle cleanup and coordinate the arrival and departure of dumpsters if required. Along the way, we will protect your plumbing, electrical wiring, and other parts of your home.

We Lay the Kitchen Foundation

Depending on the condition of your current kitchen, we may need to install new drywall, repair or replace the subfloor, or address electrical and plumbing systems. For example, if we discover rotted subflooring during demolition, we’ll replace it to prevent structural issues down the road. In older homes, these issues will often remain hidden until after the demolition phases – if there is an issue that needs to be addressed, we’ll notify you right away of any impact to the project timeline.

Installation of Kitchen Cabinets, Countertops, Plumbing, and More

Now comes the fun part – the final stages of your dream kitchen. We can install your custom cabinetry (or reface the cabinets if that is the route you have chosen), add the countertop, install a custom kitchen island, install and hook up your new appliances, add new lighting and fixtures, tile the floor, and add wallpaper, paint, or ship lap – this is where the visual element of the kitchen remodel happens.
